LDA Tertiary Student Award
Learning Difficulties Australia makes a Tertiary Student Award to a postgraduate student who has produced an exceptional paper or work which advances the understanding of theoretical and practical issues in the field of learning disabilities. The student's work should address aspects of the development of theory, assessment or educational practice relevant to a learning difficulty or disability. Nominators would usually be staff members of a recognised faculty, school or department within a tertiary institution. An Award Committee of three council members considers all nominations and makes recommendations to council, who makes the final decision as the award's recipient.
