Diagnosing Learning Difficulties for Adults

Clare 18/08/10	Hi, I'm 27 years old and I have started to think that I might have a learning disorder. My written communication is okay but when it comes to receiving verbal instructions and verbal communication, I struggle a lot. I often don't understand what's being said and I can't express myself clearly. I have a long history now of failure at study and work and I have often wondered why I can't seem to manage like everyone else. I am wondering if it is possible to have a learning disability that doesn't affect written communication?
